We, the awesome members of OGA, would like to help save the earth for a better tomorrow! [Help reduce greenhouse gases!!]
We would like to be part of the go green team because we would like the earth to be a better, cleaner place. When we grow older, we don't want to deal with the environmental issues like the global warming of today. Many habitats for animals and plants as well will be thrown completely out of balance, which can affect the rest of the organsim food chain as well! We want to help save these animals, and we usually try to do everything we can think of to help! We recycle, walk, carpool, and sometimes keep lights off when we can!

The ozone layer thing traps all the heat from the sun its suppose to bounce from the earth and back into outer space but we have so many greenhouse gas that the heat that's supposivley to bounce back gets stuck in the atmosphere and heats the earth way to mush. So all over the world , temperatures are rising and giant glaciers are melting( In the arctic polar bears drown) ! This causes the sea levels to rise. You do NOT want to deal with this in your future, so we all should come together to help the world, now, before it's too late.-more info scroll down to the video!!!!!
Even the slightest change in a habitat can throw the WHOLE ecosystem off!
Remember like, five years ago, when it was June and not that hot outside? Yeah, now it feels and looks like everyone's ready to die of heat! GLOBAL WARMING.

Ten things you can do now to help:
- Turn off lights during the day when they aren't necessary
- Carpool or walk as much as possible so we can keep our air clean
- Reuse as many materials as you can, instead of wasting and throwing everything out
- Recycle plastics and they will be made into something new, and you'll REDUCE pollution!
- Consume more organic foods, which will reduce your exposure to pesticides and such ;)
- Buy energy saving appliances and products- they last longer, and will lower your electricity bill in addition to save the earth (also: replace incandescent blubs with fluorescent!)
- Go plant a tree or plant! Plants increase the oxygen we breathe and take away the carbon dioxide for a cleaner outdoors!
- Support agencies that help the earth, or join a group that does projects supporting the reduction of greenhouse gases!
- Go tell someone. The more you inform, the more people will be inspired and take action!
